I've tried my best to screw around with different methods of installing the patch, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but have met with no luck. I just want to patch the game to either version 1.0.2 or 1.0.3 from 1.0.1 so that I can play using an Eyefinity setup because those resolutions weren't supported by the game until later versions. One of the patches removed it so the retail disc was no longer required (and I guess the whole activations).
